COPPER

Copper, a native metal, has been around humanity for thousands of years. It’s thermal and electrical conductivity make it a necessity in structures, products, nature and life. A unique feature of copper is its antifungal and antimicrobial properties. This material is great for a number of unique and intricate applications.

BRONZE

One of the oldest metals used by mankind, this metal has a unique gold hue. This aesthetic, soft metal is great for light-weight applications and aesthetic parts. Used in industry for fittings and valves, bronze is great for numerous applications in sterile and pressure environments.

316L
STAINLESS STEEL

One of the most durable and corrosion resistant materials in manufacturing, 3D printed 316L Stainless Steel allows for unique geometries at incredible strengths. Additive Manufacturing combined with 316L Stainless Steel allows part production otherwise impossible to create by any other means of manufacturing. Weldable, our 316L parts are unique and can be utilized in thousands of different applications.

17-4PH
STAINLESS STEEL

This stainless steel is a great alternative to 316L. It’s strength and chemical resistance allows for a number of applications in nearly all aspects. For components in environments that require chemical, corrosion  and temperature resistance exceeding that of 600F, 17-4PH is an ideal selection.  Also Magnetic, 17-4PH stainless steel can be utilized in a number of unique settings.  From hobbyist keychains, to exhaust manifolds, Sapphire 3D can deliver a functional stainless steel part to fit your needs.

INCONEL 718

Inconel is a superalloy that contains superior hardness and abrasion resistance due to its nickel concentration. It's outstanding resistance to high temperatures, makes it suitable for military, aerospace, and motorsport applications.

TUNGSTEN

Our 3d printed tungsten allows for great radiation shielding. It can be used for various applications professionally in the medical, military and science fields. Whether its in a catalyst application or oncology setting, 3d printing tungsten provides a novel path to achieving goals that were otherwise impossible.

ALUMINUM

This strong, low weight material has great thermal and mechanical properties. More dull than machined aluminum, 3d printed and sintered aluminum has a slight dull-matte hue that polishes to a nice shine over time. Capable of withstanding thermal and chemical environments more effectively than most plastics, aluminum 3d printed parts serve a variety of applications from military to automotive.

HIGH CARBON
IRON

This material is a member of the steel family. High carbon iron contains many tensile strength properties that make it desirable for high-strength applications. Heat treatable, this material can survive an onslaught of thermal, chemical and stress based functions.

TITANIUM

Very popular in the medical and aerospace industries, titanium has many characteristics that make it desirable for niche-specific applications. With low-thermal conductivity and an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio, its often used in aerospace, medical, and other high-performance fields.

CERAMICS

Our ceramics provide superior thermal and chemical resistance. Ceramics are used in a number of industries from artisan to aerospace. Ceramic structures, combined with the limitless possibilities of additive manufacturing, allow this material to fit niche applications wherever various problems are presented.
